How Cook’s offers are built

We’re a family-owned company headquartered on Fairmont Lane, which means our specials are written here, for this county, around what actually breaks in Palm Coast and when. They come in three shapes:

  • Pre-season maintenance specials. A reduced tune-up price in the weeks before cooling season opens in March, aimed at clearing February-through-April pollen off coils and flushing drain lines before the summer rains.
  • Replacement incentives. A discount, an upgrade or a financing feature on a new Lennox high-efficiency system, usually timed for late spring and again in the fall, when the boom-era systems across Indian Trails and Lehigh Woods are deciding whether to make it another year.
  • Agreement sign-up specials. An incentive for joining a maintenance agreement, most often before hurricane season or right after it.

Current offers

The specific promotions running this season, their amounts and their end dates are set by the office and change through the year. [[CONFIRM WITH JERRY]]

Call 866-266-5709 and ask what’s current for your address. If you’re calling about a replacement, say so; replacement offers are sometimes larger than what’s printed. If you’re a snowbird closing up a Hammock Dunes condo for the summer, mention that too, because a pre-departure tune-up special is the one most seasonal owners actually use.

Who tends to use them

Owners of boom-era systems weighing one more summer, waterfront homeowners whose salt-exposed condensers are due for a coil cleaning, and new arrivals in Sawmill Creek or Town Center who want a maintenance agreement set up before their builder warranty quietly ends.

What an offer is never used for

We don’t run a cheap diagnostic as bait for a system sale, and we don’t advertise a system price that quietly excludes the air handler, the permit or the electrical work. The 24-hour service and the absence of an after-hours charge are not promotions; they’re how Cook’s always operates, offer or no offer.

Timing a replacement around them

If your system is from the 2004-to-2007 build-out and it limped through last summer, the smartest window is a shoulder month, roughly March or October, when the weather gives you room to choose, the install calendar is open, and a replacement incentive is usually running alongside the FPL rebate. Waiting for August means buying under pressure, and no promotion fixes that.

How the offers work

Can an offer be combined with the FPL rebate and the federal tax credit?

With the rebate, yes: the FPL instant rebate comes from FPL, not from us, so a Cook’s promotion sits on top of it rather than replacing it. The federal credit is out of the picture for equipment placed in service after 2025, so you’ll see two lines on the proposal rather than three.

Do your offers apply to commercial accounts?

Some do, particularly maintenance-agreement specials for the shops around Town Center and offices along the AdventHealth corridor. Ask when you call; the office will confirm which ones. [[CONFIRM WITH JERRY]]

If a part is backordered, does the offer expire while I wait?

No. An offer is locked when you accept the quote, not when the install happens. Supply delays on our end are not your problem.

Do you honor an offer from last season?

Offers carry an end date and we hold to it. If you missed one, ask what’s current; there is usually something running.
